I don't know... I'm torn on all this legalization. I don't look forward to one more pothead/crackhead/drunkhead on the streets. It's bad enough as it is. I saw a show last night about a place in Canada where they can go and get what they need to shoot up heroin for free ~ so they can be safe! Good God we can't even feed our people here now we provide them with free drugs cuz they can't get there "S..T" together.
I agree to all of that Soozie, but I wonder about two things:
maybe cancer and a lot of pain should be a legitimate excuse? and maybe for the others, if we gave it to them pretty cheap and legal, then maybe they would stay away from my tools!
Yes, there are those legitimate cases. It's a slippery slope I guess. Another gray area of right/wrong & good/bad.
the war on drugs is a giant failure. I know that marijuana is not a gateway drug. Making criminals of people who smoke pot is simply wrong. Of course for years they made skateboarders criminals too. I think that methheads are dangerous, drunks who drive...but smoking pot to ease pain..I for one will be glad when the Govt. quits it's expensive and failed policies. There I said it..now if Utah would legalize medicinal pot my best friend could get some relief from her cancer treatments.
