Painting with Oil

Well I turned 64 and received oil paints for my birthday so I had to play with them! This is my Very First Oil Painting. It is on metal, of course and now with my others' lives a quiet life only in the computer. I am happy, I have found a new toy!

Jerry , that was a great gift for you.. Yes, a new toy. Oh art supplies are the best thing . Now try doing it on canvas so you have something permanent. And practice and play, play, play.

First off Happy Birthday to you. Secondly glad to see you got your groove back. I love that you paint on metal, it is very unique and has a wonderful effect.

First of all - a very, very Happy Birthday! ... Now you start counting backwards, you know that!

Gary this painting is absolutely wonderful. Your choice of colours and the activity of the paints.

Please, please start doing these on canvas so we can have permanent records.

Can you not let them dry on the metal.....would they adhere after a period of time?

I'm glad that you are getting older. And the world of art is also glad.
