One More Dance!

I started "painting" about one year ago and never thought I could do what a camera does. These are red flowers of no particular variety; they exist here and in my mind only. Their sole function is as a burst of color on an otherwise bland and dreary landscape. It is how I see the world, an opportunity to dance amid chaos!

And indeed these do dance! You should call these 'happy flowers'. A very difficult task to dance amid chaos sometimes!
Great painting; is it on metal?

Thanks, Ruby, yes it is on a copper sheet, one of my first twelve.

Jerry, I've done that very same thing.. Painted flowers that exist in the mind only... . I've seen some dark and gloomy paintings come out of peoples inner feelings. To each his own I know. Like you, these are colorful and alive.

Thank you, Barbra Joan! The world is dark and gloomy enough I would hate to add to that. Dance and music and passion and silliness.
Compassion and empathy and trying to understand it all. That is enough.
